I am a printmaker & teacher of art. My artistic practice is rooted in observation, focusing on layers, colour, & feeling. I find beauty in both nature & the manmade world, often discovering inspiration in overlooked places. I am particularly drawn to the beauty found in imperfection & turn to nature for solace during challenging times. Seeing potential & beauty in the mundane keeps me energized, happy, & at peace.

Teaching art allows me to express my creativity through sharing the creative process. I value the openness of young people to new possibilities, challenging norms, & exploring what could be. Watching my students reach their potential, sharing techniques & overcoming obstacles brings me immense joy. Teaching enables me to pass on my love for the creative process, while being an artist allows me to live it fully.

My dual roles as an artist & teacher complement each other, allowing me to immerse myself in creativity while inspiring the next generation of creative individuals. My work reflects a deep appreciation for the subtle beauty in the world around us, & my teaching encourages young minds to explore & realize their creative potential.
